The following is a list of the cartridges recommended by Magnum Research Inc for the Desert Eagle pistol. For some reason, .357 Magnum ammo recommended by MRI in the following list, is for Mark XIX only, and I don't know why, that in turn implies that the round found in the list may not function properly for any DE other than Mark XIX. Also, please note that this list is dated by 07/29/1997, i.e. there can be(and there are) new rounds those either came out later, or MRI haven't had them evaluated by the time this list was created. For example, IMI produces several different weight rounds in .50 caliber, those are not listed here, etc.

   * - MRI refers to this bullet as CCI-Lawman, however on the ammo box I have it says CCI Gold-Dot, SJHP. I have asked MRI about this, they said it is a CCI Gold Dot round & the type is Lawman? I don't know ;) As I know, CCI has Gold-Dot & Lawman ammo lines separately & this .50 AE, 325 Gr. round is in the Gold-Dot line.
